What is the playing ability test for golf?The Playing Ability Test (PAT) is a measure of one's golf ability. Passing the PAT is a requirement for PGA membership as well as graduation from the PGA Golf Management program. The PAT is a one-day, 36-hole event held at golf courses around the country.
Can anyone take the PGA Pat?Host Professional must be a PGA member on site through the duration of the PAT. Men play from a minimum of 6,350 but no more than 6700 yards. Women play from a minimum of 5,400 yards, but no more than 5,700. Course rating must be a minimum of 68.0.
