• Luck Key is a Korean remake of Kenji Uchida's Key of Life (2012), it revolves around a professional killer developing amnesia following bath house related head trauma, and a suicidal actor swapping their identities. Fortunately the bulk of the film follows Yoo Hae-jin's amnesiac as he tries to live the actor's best life. By comparison, Lee Joon's opportunistic wastrel is essentially worthless - using the killer's untold wealth to stalk and romance a potential target. Everytime the story returned to Lee Joon, I desperately wished that Korean cinema would become reacquainted with the 90 minute runtime. Hacking out half an hour of Lee Joon would have made this significantly more entertaining, as its stands, it's still a Yoo Hae-jin starring…
• Business people should really watch TV. They didn’t even know their hired assassin was a famous TV star.
• The film is very humorous - Yoo Hae-jin has a lot more funny moments than Lee Joon does though.
• A Hallmark movie for the boys.
• Comédie sud-coréenne grand public de qualité plus que moyenne, qui est en fait une adaptation/relecture du film japonais Key of Life, vu à Fantasia en 2013 et qui est nettement supérieur à cette version. C'est sympathique et sans prétention, Yoo Hae-jin est idéal dans le rôle titre, mais le rythme est quasiment apathique, une mise en scène paresseuse gaspille les quelques bonnes idées d'un récit qui s'égare dans une double trame narrative mal tricotée, avec résultat que l'humour tombe souvent à plat tant il manque de folie et d'audace. On est loin des meilleures comédies que les sud-coréens savent si bien mener. Et ce titre, grands dieux, ce titre...

• Luck-Key concerns two totally different characters who swap identities. Choi Hyung-wook (Yoo Hae-jin) is a cold-hearted assassin and Yoon Jae-sung (Lee Joon) is a struggling young actor living in squalor. And the first time we encounter him, he's attempting to commit suicide (which is thwarted by his landlady temporarily cutting off his electricity). The men visit the local swimming baths at the same time (independently of one another, of course). In the changing room, Jae-sung notices Hyung-wook’s very expensive watch. The killer proceeds to slip on a bar of soap and the resulting fall knocks him unconscious. • Honestly really good! Lee joons character was so annoying I was cheering for the assassin the whole time
• Pretty silly South Korean comedy that has some very good chuckles.
• The assassin trying to be an actor was more entertaining that the actor doing whatever the fuck he was trying to do
