Hi. I currently have LG gram 13.3 inch. I dont care what cpu or what feature the laptop has. I set up a cloud server at home so I can remote play games from my big ol I7 RTX 2080 desktop from my laptop. Literally the only thing I care about is battery life. From my research, my LG gram has the most battery life among all laptops. Full brightness, about 8-10 hours. I am wondering if you guys know if there is anything that surpass LG gram? It has to be full brightness.. So dont tell me something like surface laptop, 25% brightness you can squeeze out 8-10 hours.. Thanks!!!! Also.. Money is not an issue. Just dont go above 5 thousand I guess.. I googled and got some suggestions and the one I found in my price range (less than 1000$) was the Lenovo C740. It has a ~10 hour battery life and a 512gb SSD for 850$ I want a laptop that has more than a 10 hour battery life and at least a 512gb SSD. It’s gonna be used mostly for work (sometimes 24 hour shifts) and the occasional movie / youtube watching. If you have other suggestions I would appreciate it. SSD is a must too Recommended Laptop for Battery Life? from SuggestALaptop I have an X1 Carbon Gen6 and maybe get 5 hours using word, excel, edge, wifi, and live connect at half brightness. I can get 6 and a half with a Latitude 7400 I have been playing with. I'd be willing to even go a pound or two heavier if I can just hit that illusive 8 hour mark. I'm moving around so much, I have resorted to a car charger between stops, which I often forget to plug in... What are your field techs using? I'm about ready to keep a second laptop on me at all times. Found one: Latitude 7400 2 in 1 has the same specs as a normal 7400 but has the option of a 78WH battery! This will be my next try. |
