Green tea balancing cream ex review năm 2024

I never get bored of trying out new moisturisers :D so here's another review on one! I bought this to replace my beloved BEYOND Angel Aqua cream which was unfortunately not available anymore. I have heard so many good things about the Green Tea line from Innisfree and I have the Balancing Cleansing Oil for combi skin so I decided to give this a go.

Description: "A balancing cream for deep hydration and nourishment made from green tea and green tea seeds

A moisturising and nourishing cream containing eco-friendly Jeju fresh green tea & green tea seed. More moisturising and refreshing than ever before!

1. Green tea extracted from fresh green tea leaves harvested on Jeju Island is rich in amino acids and minerals that help keep the skin moisturised. 2. Packaging & Texture: It comes in a 110g plastic jar with 50ml of product. It is one of the most light weight moisturisers I have ever used. It is has a cream type texture that feels really soothing when applied to skin. I was a bit skeptical about getting a cream type moisturiser because I prefer gel types but I was pleasantly surprised since it is very light weight and goes on very smoothly. It also sinks in very fast and doesn't leave the skin feeling sticky

Effectiveness: I really do think it does what it promises and balances my skin nicely. It provides a good amount of moisture to my skin and doesn't feel too heavy. I use this mainly as a day cream because during the winter I feel like I need a bit more moisture during the night but need a bit less during the day so that my skin won't look too shiny or oily. I have noticed that ever since I started to use this moisturiser as a day cream my skin get less oily during the day when I'm wearing makeup and yet my skin doesn't have any dry patches.

Pros:💜

  • Light weight texture
  • Sinks in fast
  • Provides enough moisture to a combi skin
  • Balances oil production on skin

Cons:💔

  • None

Conclusions:

I honestly cannot think of any cons with this product since it delivers what it promises; nourishes and balances a combination skin. Obviously it is also advertised for normal to combination skin so I wouldn't recommend it to people with dry or oily skin. Innisfree has other products for these skin types The Green Tea Fresh line is for oily skin and Green Tea Moisture line is for dry skin types. This is a really good moisturiser for people like me with combi skin. Highly recommend!

I reviewed the Innisfree Skin Balancing Skin Ex just before this review and it is a product from Korea’s cult favourite skincare brand. Today we shall have a look at a very similarly named Innisfree product which is the Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Lotion Ex.

It is worth noting that although the Innisfree Balancing lotion and the Innisfree Balancing Skin Ex, have balancing benefits, each is used at a different step in your skincare routine and for a different purpose. More on the Korean 10 step skincare routine

Manufacturer’s claim

The Innisfree green tea balancing skin ex is a low viscosity skincare product that suitable for oily and combination skin. It is made with green tea and enriched 16 amino acids for a soft, supple and dewy look.

My experience & what I liked

You would think that layering skincare products would leave your face feeling heavy and sticky but this is not the case. As the last step of your skincare routine, (well, almost last because you still need your eye cream then sunscreen) applying this lotion works to seal in the moisture, and replenish your skin with a natural glow. The Innisfree Balancing Skin Lotion Ex is a very lightweight product so it blends easily, gets absorbed fast and leaves your skin feeling smooth and silky.

It is not greasy so you don’t have to worry about it ruining your foundation. It actually provides a good base for makeup, particularly if you like a dewy finish as I do. The packaging is also very convenient for it prevents spillage and contamination.

Scent

The green tea line of Innisfree skincare products smell almost the same but with just a slight variation. Since they are made to soothe and calm the skin, the scent is subtle and very natural. The Innisfree Balancing Lotion is a milky product that smells like green tea leaves.

How to use

After applying the Innisfree Balancing Skin EX, I follow up with the Cosrx mucin essence, then seal all the moisture with the Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Lotion Ex. A small amount of the lotion goes a long way to cover my face and neck.

This lotion is slightly less viscous than the eye cream so after applying it, I finish off with the Innisfree Jeju Orchid eye cream.

Ingredient

Unlike its predecessor, this Innisfree Balancing Skin Lotion is 3.5 times more enriched. It is made with fresh green tea water from Jeju island, obtained by the double squeeze method.

This green tea water contains 16 amino acids, which provide nutrients, hydration and moisturising benefits to the skin.

Other ingredients include water, propanediol, pentaerythrityl Tetraethylhexanoate, 1-2 Hexanediol, Hydrogenated policy6-14 olefin, C-14-22 Alcohols, Carbomer, Tromethamine, C12-20 Alkyl glucoside, Fragrance, Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexyglycerin, Camellia Sinensis Extract, Glycine Soja oil (Soybean), Glucose, Althaea Officinalis root extract.
