Kudos to the Splashtop team for this amazing software which works better than the paid App. I use Windows 10 and Windows 7 [which is a prehistoric 32 bit machine] and only Splashtop works on windows 7 32. Truly amazing. The paid app [ hefty $10 for the iPad app] does not even support win 7. The only issue with the app [and I know all the apps in this category have this same issue] is the slight lag with the nouse control. If Splashtop can work around this it will truly become the best application for converting your iPad into a veritable monitor. Highly recommended !!!

Windows goes into bluescreen everytime I disconnect my ipad.
I’ve used many apps like Duet, etc. Let me tell you: This app is no doubt the best there is when it comes to doing a double monitor setup. It is almost lag free. Connects within a second. My duet experience was pretty horrible when it came to connection time. I would sometimes need to plug and unplug 10-15 times just to get it to connect to my ipad. So no doubt, this app is the best there is. However, my computer goes into bluescreen everytime I disconnect my ipad after a good session of monitor sharing using this app. It also lacks the ability to extend my current monitor [maybe because i’m on the free version and not the pro one. You can point this out if it is available in the pro version]. Please tell me what to do to avoid bluescreens? I don’t want my computer to end up dead cuz of this app!!!

This app appears that it was last updated years ago but works amazingly even with the latest os updates, no issues at all. Thanks to Devs for making this great app and delivering it for free. I you even think of making it open source, I would really love to contribute and collaborate.

I tried connecting it to my Lenovo laptop ,it did successfully but the issue was it kept disconnecting and connecting frequently because of which I could not get consistent screen mirroring or Screen extension .either the issue was with my laptop or the app ,otherwise the app is great for screen extensions With the option of screen resolution in easy access

Initially I had to struggle a lot as it was only mirroring the screen I did some research and finally I successfully extended with this app There is a little lag while using mouse but touch screen of iPad works perfectly fine

Putting the old iPad mini to use
I could not have asked more from my older iPad mini. This app helped me extend my MacBook to this iPad and now I have another display to work with. Awesome job guys! Please now make the rendering even smoother in the upcoming releases

Disconnecting repeatedly!
The screens keep disconnecting every few minutes. Tried changing the connecting cord, the internet connection and the resolution. The port of the 2 screens seems to be working fine too so it boils down to the software. I am using an iPad pro2018 with a Windows 10 HP laptop.

Works just as they show it, a little expensive for what the app is for but in the end it's totally worth it. Only problem is when using on higher resolutions the mouse movement is very slow, please fix that

It is perfectly working on my iPad 3, which is quite old tablet. I am happy with performance. Touch performance is good. However, I am not able to scroll with 2 finger settings..

So slow it is practically useless
The lag between using the “Shared” display and the PC screen is easily a couple of seconds. That makes the app pretty much useless for any art / sketch related needs. Not sure what the benefits of screen mirroring are unless one’s PC screen is large enough to watch videos - but there are much better casting apps for that specific need.

I downloaded the app in hopes that it would be a secondary display for my laptop, but after setting up both the devices it’s only mirroring my laptop screen and not extending, pretty disappointed

The extending display works fine but the XDisplay driver on pic screws up my mouse driver and when the mouse is supposed to go to sleep mode it just gets unpaired from the receiver

I installed it over my iPad and mac and did everything I was supposed to but it was just saying connecting for like 10 minutes so I uninstalled it. I would prefer spacedesk if you are using windows but mac I can suggest anything wireless for now

The link between my windows 10 device and my iPad air 2nd generation keeps breaking every 2-3 minutes! I’m using new wires to connect and also using a USB 3.0 port. Fix it!

I was hesitant to download this but boy was I glad I did
I am a YouTuber and I need a to utilize every resource I have to produce content. I was trying to set my ipad 6 2018 as a secondary monitor to my PC that runs on Win 10. The problem of course is the incompatibility issues that are intentionanlly manufactured between the two systems. This app solves this wonderfully. It has no bugs and is quick and responsive. Above all, it is freeeeeee! One thing that could be improved though. I do not know if they could do this, but if the wired connection could also charge the ipad, that would be great.
