- 04/01/2022 - 2022MY Fleet Final Order Due Date
- 07/28/2022 - 2022MY Last Day to Spec Change
- 10/09/2022 - 2022MY Balance Out Date
- TBD - 2023MY Order Bank Open Date
- 08/04/2022 - 2023MY Scheduling Begins
- 10/10/2022 - 2023MY Job #1 Date
The 2023 F-150 BEV Lightning Order Guide will be released on or about the date that the 2023 Order Bank opens and will be available for download in the Dealer Order Guides section at that time.

Nice! Thanks for sharing! 2 weeks to a month? I remember seeing an 8/16 date, but that makes it seem like "Wave" ordering could start more than a month earlier than that. I put my order in at the beginning of
Feburary and I knew my production date by the 25th. I think that week was when a lot of people got their production date, so that was just under 2 months since the first wave was able to place their order.
Any guesses as to how far out the order bank needs to open before the Aug. 4 scheduling date?

So am I correct in reading this that even though I have yet to receive a production date, I should realistically expect no later then Q3 production? [4/13 order date btw]

You nailed it! Sometime in the last four hours I went from no date to week of 8/29! Convenietly my birthday is in September too
Just so I understand this correctly... I havent made a reservation but wanted to make one for MY2023. So the first opportunity I will have to make a reservation is August 4th, 2022?

Just so I understand this correctly... I havent made a reservation but wanted to make one for MY2023. So the first opportunity I will have to make a reservation is August 4th, 2022? Maybe, probably not. You have what may be a full year of production ahead of you in theoretically ~180,000 existing reservations.
I'm not sure exactly how Ford does this. But, from the way I read it, they will open the reservation order banks, probably ahead of 8/4/22. They'll start getting enough early MY23 reservation holder conversions to orders to schedule early MY23 production capacity. Any new orders will come after they winnow their way through reservation holders.

This should be for people that have a reservation and haven't been able to order yet. I hope you and I can order/reserve before then end of the year hoping for delivery next summer. Hope!

refreshing this thread since we are technically a month before MY2023 Scheduling Begins in 8/4/2022, anyone have any thought on when ordering might begin? I thought 30 days before Scheduling Begins would’ve been a good guess. I emailed my dealer this morning and hoping for some news

Also curious to get other’s opinions on when folks would theoretically take delivery of a MY23. If scheduling begins in August and the trucks are built in October, I’m guessing the MY23 platinums and lariats start hitting driveways in mid November [XLT and pros sometime in Dec/Jan]?

I would expect that Ford would want a healthy crop of orders of each trim in hand before starting scheduling. Perhaps they are planning a few waves before scheduling?
