My XPS 13 suddenly wont turn on at all. The only action that occurs is the 2 amber lights and 7 white blinks on the battery indicator. No sounds at all when attempting to turn on. I am not using an external display. I just used the computer and today it no longer does anything. The computer is outside of its warranty purchased in Feb 16 and has been nothing but trouble.
Remove or disconnect the battery. With the system unplugged, hold the power button for 30 sec.
Try powering up on AC only - if it will but won't with the battery installed, the battery is bad.
If it still won't power up, the mainboard is bad.
